Emotions are something to be control and understood through training and study; you can learn to control them and not let them control you.

It is a long process and like everything in our training takes time. Having a dan rank does mean you have control of your emotions, it just means your still learning.

There are many tools within our art to explorer the control of your emotional states. How deep you want to go into this area is up to you. There are meditations, breathing exercises, etc.

Your first step is to understand emotions, is to understand where they come from; to understanding the basics of what drives human emotions. Once understand your emotions and yourself you will have better clarity that emotions are just a natural state an part of being human.

It is easy; I am still work on this subject too.

Last month, I was training when Duncan Stewart, shihan and he said; one sign good taijutsu in general was doing the same waza consistently correctly every time no matter the body size, body type, or weight over and over again with different people. It may look a little different depending the body sizes of the attack, but it is the same technique.
