to the mods: the Italian shihan spreading these info in italy has just written me that he would start a legal action against me because i mentioned his name on this forum without his permission. Is there any legal basis on this?

Hi there,
In Italy, Giuseppe Costa and his students (a 10+ Dan Shihan) are spreading an e-mail where they say the news are officially from Soke...

Has anyone confirmation about this?

Bye,

Paolo

hello Eva,
I have a very interesting mht file (it's an HTML archive).
It's a big webpage (2 MB) saved long ago, and thru google I can't find it any more as an online document.
If you wish, I can email the file to you.
You find my email address at this webpage: http://www.geocities.com/paolo_rossi_1/contacts.html
Just send me an email and I reply to it with the document.
Bye,
Paolo

I was in Slovenia a few weeks ago, third time I met Kacem and I hope it's just the beginning of a great opportunity that I try to deserve and honour.

Repeated here - for truth.

Seriously people, you can't forget what you don't know.

Henka is not doing whatever you like. Henka is created when you do everything so perfectly - you can change as needed. Most people focus on the last part of that sentence and forget the first part. Henka is not the child of screwing something up - it is the child of perfection.

You need to keep the image of the master on your mind when you move - so that your movements -- IN ALL THEIR DETAIL -- reflect that image - like the master's shadow.

Feel free to nod your head at this point and go back thinking that kata aren't important. They are just the foundation of the building... Weak foundation, weak building, weak everything...

Sorry, wish it was easier.

I wholeheartedly agree! (Daniel, you're not alone... )

I remember a quotation from a book by Hatsumi Sensei: "if you feel you didn't progress in the last 10 years, then you must quit"...

This should sound encouraging (I suppose)...

hi there,
my humble suggestion: just keep training and forget about grades. only your teacher knows when and how to rank you, moreover there is no standard progression plan. just don't focus on rank, it's not that important (unless you're getting a menkyo kaiden, LOL).
for the syllabus, our Soke is working on a big taijutsu book...
hth,
paolo
