I stand corrected on the geographical locations of the Shidoshis that I mentioned, as my information seems to be outdated. I certainly did not intend to spread any misinformation, I simply suck with maps. =) Good training to ya!

Shidoshi David Givens currently has a dojo in nearby Saratoga, about a 10 minute drive from San Jose, a 7th Dan. He is one of the Shidoshi I currently train with. Also fairly local are Richard Van Donk in Santa Cruz, Dale Seago of Marin, and Ken Lux in Stockton. As to the other aspects of this thread I can only hope that your enthusiasm for this otherwise wonderful board is not lessened, and you "keep going" on Kutaki.
