I just came down with Strep Throat and I noticed that my senses are greatly changed, my equlibrium is affected, my hearing is diminished and my sense of smell is dropped significantly. Is there anyting you can eat to help prevent from getting sick or at least lower your chances of being so sick that your senses can't function correctly. I do drink tea, and I know that is supposed to help. What else can I do? Vitamins? Drinks?

off topic... A few months ago here in Santa Barbara a guy came at police with a knife and a Shiruken (SP?) and they shot him 8 times! Just posted this as a point to say "Never say never".

I would like to post one of the random quotes that comes up on this site sometimes, and I think that it should be kept in your thoughts

When we hate our enemies, we are giving them power over us: power over our sleep, our appetites, our blood pressure, our health, and our happiness. Our enemies would dance with joy if only they knew how they were worrying us, lacerating us, and getting even with us! Our hate is not hurting them at all, but our hate is turning our own days and nights into a hellish turmoil.
-- Dale Carnegie

Don't worry about whether or not they are going to jump you. The fact that they know they are instilling fear in you is good enough for them (because it makes them feel good). The best thing to do when you do see them again is to act like you aren't paying any attention to them, but keep your wits about you and pay close attention to them. By this I mean, don't stare/look at them, but while walking past them keep them in your field of view, just act like you don't even notice them. This is just my opinion, it has worked for me many times...

I speak a little Spanish (Castilliano and "Mexican"), and some Japanese. I think it is good to know various languages, and if not the full language, than at least a few key phrases in some. Spanish is good to have out here in CA due to the amount of Spanish speaking residents, but they speak (sorry for the term if it is incorrect) "Mexican" Spanish so I never speak Castilliano (Spain Spanish). I am learning Japanese because I hope some day soon to travel there, see the sites (I love Japanese culture and history), and meet Soke. Well, that's my two yen, cents, pesos

Well, I believe my search is over!! It isn't exactly like the authentic Kunai due to the fact that the tip is sharpened, but that can be fixed. Cold Steel is a company out here on the California coast that makes high quality knives and other items. Here's the Link: http://www.coldsteel.com/80tkseries.html
They call them throwing knives, Not too expensive and very durable.

Thanks
