I use and recommend Westpoint Insurance Group. A fair rate and they don't require safety warning labels on everything. You can find them online. Their policies satisfy the requirements for private contractors with local municipalities & NGO's in far Northern California.

Lou and Jason,

I have returned recently from a 15 year absence. If I may, I highly recommend being abundantly clear on what you want to get from your training. If you take every sequential step towards your desire, everything else will become a consequence of your choices and actions.

For me, it is essential to regain the foundational (kihon and sanshin) pieces before pursuing the conceptual levels of training. As a consequence of having this perspective I have gained physical resiliancy. My health has improved, the excess weight my body had become complacent with has come off and continues to fall away. Endurance enrichment is now easier to pursue as a consequence. Which will allow more training to be possible, expanding my capacity.

Irrespective of your intentions in returning to training, your body is with you both within and without the training, take care of it and respect it. It will take you everywhere.

My fellow Buyu,

As spring has started to make it's presence known through the Northstate. The possibilities dreamed of this last winter have quietly moved to set the stage for training again in the Redding area.

The group will tentively be meeting on Sunday afternoons times and locations to be determined weekly. Contact Craig ( through Kutaki )for details or to arrange alternative opportunities. The emphasis of these sessions are to develop the fellowship and physical bodies needed to train mindfully in the Bujinkan.

There will also be opportunities to travel to Sacramento and the Bay Area to train with the great people down there. My van holds 7 travelling light. As usual, fees for these events are the participants responsibility and a share of travelling costs if riding the Booj-bus.

Ari

Merely an example of how rule book can become the foundation for elitism.
