Well thank you to each and everyone of you.. not only for the suggestions but the thread entertainment... sadly ive done so much back reading / cross board reading that the underlying puns made for some good humor :P

I have looked into and read up on Luke Molitor for quite some time now.. (im not a stalker.... much lol) but he has been my first choice due to his interest in the historical studies of the classic art form. I am a bit of a history dork so his nature ties into what I am looking for.. this is not to say any other teachers mentioned aren't the same.. but I have not come across as much information on them in my search.

I have gotten in contact with Luke and look forward to touching base with him in the near future.. and to the future progression in Bujinkan.

Altogether I am happy that the art is alive in the area I live as Im sure there are many out there who do not of the same oppurtunities.

Through reading I can see that some have formed their own paths split from that of "Formal Bujinkan in the continuance of training under Masaaki Hatsumi", had to clarify as to not get ripped as to what I meant by formal.
I looked into Ralphs school before and found that it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, which is discredit to his teaching or style, just not what I am looking for.

Ok i just wanted to ramble on because everyone else was having fun in the thread and I felt left out LOL :P

Thank you for your reply Papa san, this is definately something that is important to me. I am 29 and I feel bad at times that I have waited so long to begin my training.. but at the same time I know that in years past I couldn't have given 100% and I don't like to half ass anything.. especially when it involves the commitment of someone elses time and reasources.

I was hoping to get pointed in a few directions as far as training in the Dallas area.. I have applied to the Jigoku Dojo.. Of course this being my first choice and I hope I am able to train there.. there is always a possiblity they are not taking on more students, so I hoped to gather other routes that I may have to take.

Thanks for any help/information that can be provided.
