Just to re-iterate, no "Live" weapons please. Bring any practice weapons you like/can carry, but nothing sharp please.
Thankyou in advance for your co-operation.

As Christian Slater said in True Romance:
"It's better to have a gun and not need it, than need one and not have it".
To be honest, I doubt there will be the need for Shuko, Kyoketsu Shoge and the like, but Bo and Jo could be a possibility and as I said before, a rope. Anything you can carry is a bonus, it's always good to be prepared.
I'm really looking forward to it, getting pretty excited now.
Hopefully see you there.

A selection of weapons is never a bad idea, but Kodachi is a must. You may also want to include Nawa, I understand that there are some Hojojutsu techniques in the school but whether they will be covered on the seminar is unsure. And yes, wooden weapons only please (or foam/rubber, no live weapons). And further, no outdoor tabi. The school in which we're training has specifically requested that we remove outdoor footwear before entering the hall.
And no photos please.
Thanks for everyones help, support and co-operation on this.

You're right, it can be read that way. Apologies, I'll speak to our web designer to have it changed. Thanks for pointing that out.
And those clips on youtube, I doubt they have been sped up. I have witnessed the speed on several occasions and, to quote a friend, "he's a bit quick with that stick!".

The seminar is open to everyone with an open mind. There is no limit for rank or level, and people from other arts and Ryu are welcome too. The theme is Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu and Kodachi techniques, so should be very interesting, even for people who don't practice within the Bujinkan. I've seen Kacem several times on seminars and it's always a treat. I'm sure this time will be no different.
I've been studying under Alan for just over 3 years and consider him a great teacher and friend, but of course I'd say that The only thing to say is come to class and see for yourself, it's a friendly group and like Gerard said, "You have nothing to lose right?"

Ps. Hi Gerard, hope all is well mate, see you in a few weeks.
