Well I thought it was funny...some people need to lighten up.

And please don't ask for stupid translations like " I gave my order on Tuesday for 50 certificates, where are they?"

To be honest, I would not let my daughter out of my sight in the hands of someone I didn't know, professional or not.

As far as Japan being "stroller" friendly (If a stroller is a buggy), then its not really. Kids are more often than not carried than wheeled.

The kids areas at stores are generally unsupervised and are really aimed more at toddlers and older kids than babies. Big department stores do have mother and baby rooms for changing and feeding but not really a "creche".

Some kindergarten do take babies, my local one here has a class for 4 months old..

If you are staying with family, why not try to corral one of them into travelling with you to help take care?

When talking to my teacher (inside or outside the dojo) I call him Sensei. When I refer to him, I refer to him as Kan Sensei. My students refer to me as Pol Sensei when talking about me, and Sensei when talking to me, despite my attempts to get them to call me Pol!
Personally I don't care what they call me as long as they train ;)
