As you progress in practice in these ryu you'll learn to have the weight on the front leg instead, in the middle, etc. etc. As has been pointed out above, the kamae are not meant to be static. But the above is the basic "first level" where you start the practice.

Excuse could you do a example, where is Ichimionji with weight of the body to forward, o at centre? I am not familiar with it.

Hi bujinfun, I am Italian, I don't know if I got your questions. You mean, why on the bujinkan training it's not realistic, o if techniques Taj jiutsu are good for really street fighting?HHHH I have not much experience in Taj jiutsu but regard the training depend of instructor. You see the AKKBAN TRAINING, or TO SHIN DO AND GENBUKAN, The techniches sure are effective also in a modern scenario of street fighting watch this link

HI MY FRIEND!!! Interesting and disturbing!!! However, Tai jutsu taught in Bujinkan, is completely different from KUNG FU KARATE ', AND OTHER FORMS OF JI JUTSU, despite having similarities with them. There are Kata in Gyokko and Koto ryu ryu with different principles from Kukishin ryu and Takagi Yoshin ryu. Nowadays taken from Bruce Lee's craze invent new martial arts, mixing the Brazilian JIjutsu with boxing etc.-ecc.it's not hard to do it, but invent a martial art with traditional techniques, kata principles, you must be a genius for to do it. Takamatsu really invented all this. However, when ninja fight, used the ji jutsu and other weapons of samurai's origin, adapting them to their needs. I used trained in Karatè skotokan, wing chun kung fu, mma. Bujinkan Taj jiutsu is really clever confronting it, with other martial arts. Takamatsu was a genius if invented all this, and cheat all the world. Greetings

Are HIRA NO KAMAE and SHIZEN NO KAMAE the same thing in Gyokko ryu? In the video that I posted Hatsumi shows Hira no kamae like Shizen.

Above all thank you for exhaustive answers!

The Shinobi were then encouraged to learn martial arts principles and techniques from various sources.

then Antony Cummins is right when say that there is not a specific martial to empty hand in ninjutsu.
However somebody said that Togakure used GYOKKO RYU AND KOTO RYU. Is logic to think, if Daisuke Nishina was a samurai just knew the martial arts, after he leaned Gyokko ryu by Kain Doshi expert in Kosshijiutsu, Koto ryu come from Gyokko ryu,the ryu had same soke, until Takamatsu tha joined 9 ryu, the
TOGAKURE
GYOKKO RYU
GYOKKO KOTO RYU
NINE SKOOLS

Kacem in his book wrote the ninja trained in Koppo iutsu one of specialty they had to know.

Giuseppe, you may want to put in more time training and less time asking questions that aren't going to help with your training.

My training is ok!!! It's important to know the history of ryu that we study. I love have A CULTURE, is there something wrong in it? Greetings!

Hi to everyone!I Know that Hatsumi teaches 9 different ryua together, my question is:

1- What kind of tai jutsu was used on togakure, first of Hatsumi, Takamatsu and Toda?(When Bujinkan didn't existed and 9 ryu wasn't teached together).

2- Somebody can talk me about Togakure's taj jiutsu evolution from his foundation until now?
Greetings.

Above all thank you,

YOURU KAGE WROTE
Given your knowledge and temperament at this point, it is a good thing you haven't achieved that knowledge because you would seriously hurt someone if you knew how to use it.

Where do you live, I live in a small town where the violence, is a normal thing, there are many bad people ready kill to you, use o don't use a technique can make the difference between LIVE OR DIE.Grretings.

Hi to everyone, after the interest that a my previous post aroused. I decided deepen some arguments reguard tha attack in Taj jiutsu. I am a beginner in bujinkan, but I have got experience in other martial arts. WICH
Shotokan Karatè
Wing chun
Mma etcetc
I want clarify some points, maybe confronted on previous posts.
Traditionally in the taj jiutsu there are the famous HO KEN JU ROPPO
1. Fudo / Kongo immovable clenched fist
2. Gyokaku cow horn three-finger claw
3. Happa eight leaves open hand cup
4. Kikaku / Zatsuki demon horn head front / back / side
5. Kiten wake up rolling open hand edge
6. Koppo / Koken bone way thumb knuckle
7. Shako shrimp open hand claw
8. Shikan extend knuckle extended fist
9. Shishin / Hosen bee sting little finger stab
10. Shito / Boshi finger sword thumb slice or jab
11. Shizen natural teeth / nails / toe nails
12. Shuki waking up arm elbow
13. Sokki waking up leg knee
14. Sokugyaku foot dance (rev) toes stabbing
15. Sokuyaku foot dance sole / ball of foot
16. Taiken body weapon
Now my question is:
1-Many of this arms’ techniches use the step like Fudoken, many similar to Karatè’ s oizuki
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBc8wkfJEao
The problem is, in a real street fight you cannot use fudoken, o Shahoken in a long distance, all is more closer, I mean the distance.
When you talk about Taj jiutsu it’s easy hear the sentences
1-ONE STRIKE ONE VICTORY
2- THE SLOWNESS IS OUR FORCE
3-TAI JIUTSU IS BASED OF NATURAL MOVEMENT OF HUMAN BODY
Regard first two point, I think that there are situations where one strike is not sufficient for break down your opponent and situation where your punch must be fast. Third point, what do you mean with natural movement? A kick, a jab, I think that is natural for me, it’s not natural for you, for example for me is a natural thing use all kind of kicks, because I trained for long time to use it, my legs are flexibile my feet are like my hand if somebody say me DON’T USE THE KICKS BECAUSE THIS NOT TAJ JIUTSU, I would fell limited, because for me is normal use kicks, like can be natural use in a real street fighting, a slap etc. One day a shihan told me that in Ta ji jiutsu there is not limited, all is good if it is natural for you, but if on the KOTO AND GYOKKO RYU SCROLLS there are not JAB, CROSS, SLAP moreover my taj jiutsu is not correct.
Can I do boxe and include it in my Taj jiutsu, o am I limited in that wrote on the scrools?
Can fudoken became a jab?
Can my elbow strike to be, like Muay thay in this moment and like Karatè tomorrow because situation is different, and to be a CORRECT TAJ JIUTSU? For example also the boxe use body weight, you see falling step.
Other question THE ATTACK TIME, in kihon kappo for example you attack after a defense, but if I want anticipate my opponent? How do you study attack time? Greetings.
