Thank you,

Has anyone done any Iaido to complement their sword work? Maybe a Muso shinden ryu or a Batto ryu? If so do you think it helped your sword practice along?

In my previous martial art we wore Iwata hakama's. I love doing Ukemi in a hakama. But like anything else it takes a little time to get acclimated to them.

***NOOB ALERT***
After reading a load of posts here about the 9 Ryuha's i've come to the conclusion that I just need to study what my teacher says and not actually each individual Ryuha. That will come with time and experience?

Just for learning purposes does anyone read the "Bujinkan Budô Densho" series books? From what ive been reading these are what are suppose to be in the scrolls?

Im sorry for the extreme noob questions.

Hi Guys,
New to the bujinkan, but luckily ive been doing Aikido for a few years. So my Ukemi is not at the extreme beginner level. The basic rolls seem to be pretty much the same. I did notice a few different ones. How many different type of rolls are there?
On the basic sword cuts. Im hoping its:
Straight cut
Side cuts(Top to bottom)

Any other I should be looking at?
