No offence, but... might one be in the wrong place if one needs to ask the Sôke about the basics...?

Does that still apply when thinking of the aspect that everything starts with the basics ?

But i agree with you ; when one has , let's say , over 10 years of uptime then it would be more weird.
Being around for half that time i think i can still could have a look at the basics

It's very cheap to just c/p to have a shout...
In the past BS was both amusing and sometimes very sharp...

Nowadays it seems that it's just screaming about how everything traditional and everything that doesnt fit to the keywords "bjj" and "cage" sucks...
Too bad... in the past it used to be a nice place to hang out

I smell Italian flavoured politics in here...

Is it just me or is anyone else disturbed that charges like this are being made on a web forum, without naming anyone, just throwing around a lot of innuendo?

If you've got a charge to make, then contact law enforcement and be done with it. If you're not comfortable doing that, then don't splash it on a public web board.

I find the whole idea of a thread like this as distasteful as the alleged---let us emphasize that word---behavior in question.

I totally agree on that.

Strange that the most bizarre politic stuff going on in the bujinkan stays offline and a "guess" like this gets all the bad karma...

Is it possible to be a critic and still be respectfull ?

To me it seems it doesn't matter how sensitive or respectful you bring up a point ; you'll always seem to step on the wrong toes...
I agree ; critics should bring up their points with at least a bit respect but a bit more "healthy" discussion would be better then "banning the subject because it's ... "

Could we put the mudd down again gentlemen ? ...

Ontopic again ; it seems there is a lot to do about people who want to grab "the data that's out there"
That is not so strange ; it's there and for some that's enough.
Others just want to have a look once in a while and very briefly and there are also people that want to suck in that stuff like a lightning fast download.
We're all people and we're all different.

Imho there is a bit of a hold on the data ; it's available but it's hard to access.
I think the "issues" are here because of this "limited access"
From a personal point of view ; i know that there is a lot to explore , the path ahead seems endless as always and that's fine with me :D
I could be spending time by harvesting data but i don't yet see how that would make my experience any better.
But if someone would try to grab all the info that there is , then why not?
