The training is very similar to taijutsu, if a little less sophisticated (by design) and I was able to hold my own, even in the pressure testing at th end where you put two fingers on the mat and run round them for 30 seconds until you are very much disoriented and are then attacked at random by your fellow students (8 in my case) over and over again but with the same attacks you have been training for during the class so that it isn't just a free for all. A definite candidate for cross training, where you can test your taijutsu without having to be sneaky about it as it is only the more obviously Japanese postured techniques that would be obvious as being from outside KM. Certainly worth reading about anyway.

a book i just finished in 2 days
'ENTER the Past Tense' by Roland W. Haas. an intense read about a former CIA contractor. i think anyone studying ninjutsu as well as those in the government and security fields ( i know your out there ) would really find it interesting

Martial Arts Instruction by Lawrence A. Kane (spanish version). Totally recommend it if you are an active instructor. Although he is a karateka, the teachings are easily translated into Budo.
Wish I could read more but I'm quite busy with my master's degree (so I guess all of THAT reading is counted out of this topic).
