The Bujinkan Kukan Dojo is a great place to train, it is in Ocala Florida, North Central Florida. There are some other great places to train in the state as well depending on where she will be located.

I train with Paul Fisher in Palm Beach and we have a good outdoor training group (the dojo was destroyed in the hurricane) and I often supply equipment. Dick Severance is awesome to train with, Greg Cooper and Cliff Vann are also really good.

I didn't know that either. What hurricane was that? I remember a hurricane that happened somewhere in Florida as I left to come back to NY around last August. Was that the one? That's awful! Please give him my best as well.

Regards,

P.S. I too recomend Paul's dojo. I enjoyed training there with that group.

Ulysses, remember we had like 3 hurricanes cris-cross us last year. I think #2 got it. I don't remember the hurricane's name.

I spoke with Paul in February at Jack's seminar in Zephyrhills and he said that it was a good opportunity to rebuild it. He says it will have A/C now. I trained there at a seminar last summer and it was stiffling hot! If you trained there in the summer, you know what I am talking about.

Thank you very much for all your input so far. I will gladly forward all the information to her. If she plans to visit a particular dojo, she will contact the instructor beforehand. Please keep posting if you have anything more to share.

Does anyone happen to know if Larry Beaver is still around in Florida and if he still accepts students? He used to run the Florida Bujinkan Dojo in Bradenton but all traces have since disappeared.

He lives there in Sarasota. Training in the Bujinkan? NO.

Rob,

Are you saying that Larry no longer trains in the Bujinkan? That would be sad news.

Hi all,

Just letting everyone know that there is one Bujinkan Dojo in Miami. It is run by Shihan Robert Hamilton, he can be contacted at bujinoni@yahoo.com if you have any questions for Miami based training.

Be safe in training....
