Hi,
There's Sheffield and Doncaster not too far away.

Which would be better for you?

Hi Mark

Their are groups training in Lincoln, Doncaster and Dinnington (and probarably many other places in the area but sorry if I dont know you guys). The instructors from these areas have all previously posted on the Bujinkan Britain web site forum so if you head to:

http://www.bujinkanbritain.org/

you should be able to find more info.

Jason

Oh yeah sorry shadow I forgot about sheffield

Contact Mr. Richardson at the Bujinkan Lincoln Dojo and he will put you in the direction of a instructor in your area.

I think that there is a 5th Dan in Sheffield that has the surname Lynch. As to the whereabouts, I can not remember.

Hello,

Thanks for that but i think i will go for the sheffield club, i dont like the look of Paul Richardson.

I was looking at bullshido when i originally wanted a club, i found a man on there talking about him saying how good he was then on his last posts he thrashes him and his teaching

http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showt ... =21962&highlight=bujinkan

i was going to go along as its close for the evenings but this put me off. i dont want to waste money even when i make lots.

Mark

Dear Mark,
I took the time to follow the link you provided and was more than irritated by what I read. I am friends with the instructor in question and while this means that I can not claim an impartial point of view it makes me say the following.

There has been some discussion about the instructor based on the accusations of one man. These were later proofed wrong and things even went as far as becoming a juridical affair.
I was not there to witness any of the things mentioned on the other board but based on what I know and how I know the instructor it seems highly unlikely that the desxription is accurate.

To you all this may mean nothing but I´d like to make one point here. It takes years to get a good reputation and to aquire skills such as those of the said trainer. But it takes only a few emails and postings on a board like kutaki to cause damage.

I would encourage you to go to the dojo and see for yourself. Make up your own mind. You still may not like it there but at least that´d be your own opinion.

Take care,
Karsten

I do not think this thread is an Appropriate one and should be deleted.

I do not know the ins and outs of the story, but as we have seen on other threads, a public forum is not the place for this.

If this is true then the appropriate action should be taken, if not true it just clouds peoples views and then the damage has been done in some eyes, as some say 'no smoke without fire'

best just to leave alone.
