I personaly like my keys. They can be used as koppo or shuko. I hold one long key between my thumb and first finger like a boshiken and the rest in my fist and hanging out the bottom. Not between my fingers, I set them so I wont injure myself.

I forgot... I used to carry a carabener (sp) on my key chain... had a flash light attached to it and the keys hung off of it.... I thought it was pretty sweet cuz I could also grip it against my palm and turn it into 'brass knuckles' with the pointiest end pointing outwards. the light would be kool, and the keys hung low enough to be whipped out a bit.

I carry a little plastic "duck" or "force multiplyer" on my key chain which is a very effective "tool" and does not seem to be a weapon of any kind. Also a metal ball point pen with a rubber band wrapped around the middle. By puttin your finger through the rubber band it just sits in your palm and you can't get your finger hurt or trapped.
