Two year Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buko Goshinjutsu Ryu
'Chuden' course with Peter King Hatsumi Sensei is the Soke of the Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buko Goshinjutsu Ryu, which is the Traditional Japanese Medicine system, which he inherited from Takamatsu Sensei. This is a comprehensive and practically based system reflecting Hatsumi SenseiÄôs brilliance in the same way as his Budo does. Learning the Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buko Goshinjutsu Ryu provides a greater depth context and insight into the Bujinkan, because it is that which is normally unseen i.e. Äòthe other side of the coinÄô. The course is taught by senior Bujinkan teacher Peter King, who is Bujinkan Dojo, Ku-gyo Menkyo Kaiden and Ju-godan (15th Dan). Peter holds Menkyo Kaiden (Master Teacher) rank in the Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buko Goshinjutsu Ryu which was awarded by Hatsumi Sensei. Menkyo Kaiden is the highest level award within the system and only four have ever been conferred by Hatsumi Sensei. In addition Peter is also qualified and registered as an Osteopath, Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist. The two year programme will cover up to and including ÄòChudenÄô (middle level transmission) rank skills within the system. At the conclusion of the course, participants should be familiar with the theories and principles of the system and be competent to treat using ÄòAnmaÄô (Japanese style massage) and ÄòSeitaiÄô (body correction) together with the various treatment protocols for Shoden and Chuden levels. The course will be delivered through distance learning modules and 20 taught sessions over 2 years. The venue for the course will be Carshalton, Surrey, England. The course is priced at a special cost of ¬£2,750 (sterling) for Bujinkan members only, but a further reduction can be applied to applicants wish to make an early full payment (rather than staggered payments). For further details visit the Amatsu Medicine website at: www.amatsumedicine.org.uk or the Amatsu forum at: www.bujinkanbritain.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=12 Also see ÄòBujinÄô the web-based Bujinkan magazine, for a forthcoming Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buko Goshinjutsu Ryu interview with Peter King at: http://www.bujinmag.com/index2.htm
