Interesting topic, of which the descision is not mine so I can't comment on it.

Hayes brought the style to the USA, deserves credit for it.

If you want to give Hayes credit, you'll have to get in the back of a very long line...

A long line of SKH...

I find it fascinating how people have no problem summoning the self-righteousness and courage to judge and publicly flail people with their vehement opinions. Yet, to such people, look in the mirror. Were you in the same room with Hayes, would you have the same guts and your opinion be as strong to be able to express such thought to his face? Most definitely not, I reckon.
Hatsumi-sensei once said that Takamatsu-sensei deplored gossipers and (forgive my words) sh*t-talkers, saying that true men know the grace and power of silence and when to keep their mouth shut. Many could learn from this.

As the most frequent poster on this thread I have one question for you. When did you walk in my shoes? Words and actions should be the same huh!?

There are good reasons why some are more passionate than others on the topic. I would have no problems discussing things with him in person. I don't think it would have any effect on him. There are good lessons to learn from this and as always, some will completely miss the biggest message flashing in front of them. YOU HAVE TO TRAIN WITH SOKE! Or your taijutsu will stagnate.

It has been shown to me that Sensei would like this to be a non-topic and so I will sign off this topic!

I agree Marty, why do we need to keep talking about this. Hayes made his choices, those led to his results ---- so??? He has to live with those like EVERY one of us must live with the results of our choices. Maybe we should all learn what "not to do" from his results and go on?

Though I disagree with the what not to do thing. I do agree that this is Hatsumis choice to do with as he wished and the topic is garnering more chatter than it needs to.

I agree - maybe I can help solve this problem by closing this thread and locking it up for good.

Case closed, chapter finished, show over, it's all old news now. Onwards and upwards, everybody!

Cheers!
