Most of you know by now that Kathy Baylor died suddenly. I am just one of many who called her a friend and valued her. Life is such that none of us know when or where this will happen but it will. We in the Bujinkan have lost some special people in the last months and we who are still here must deal with that loss. They have gone home hopefully to a much better place where they can watch what we do and how we treat each other. There are no "do-overs" in Life and so we must all be aware of how we treat others, friends and others alike, we never know how long either we or they may have. Never pass by an opportunity to express your appreciation for those in your life. Never pass an opportunity to tell those whom you love that you do love them.
Kathy, I am only one of those who will miss you.

I don't believe I've ever met Kathy, but am sorry to hear of her passing. Condolences to friends and family.

A memorial training event is being held in NYC in honour of Kathy. Doug Wilson is flying over from Japan to be one of the guest instructors at the event. Proceeds are being donated to Kathy's family. More details here:

The memorial service was beautiful Doug, you did a wonderful job in emsee-ing it. For those who could not attend, it did what any such service should do, it celebrated Kathy's life and the positive person she was. Again deepest sympathies to all her friends and family.
