I'm posting some info on my blog, and have been back in Kashiwa City since Monday last week. See Effects of the Disaster, how you can help.

Life in Tokyo is as normal as possible under the circumstances, with significant aftershocks interrupting the normal flow of life. Prime Minister Kan addressed the nation tonight, and likenend the disaster recovery to the post-war period of rapid economic growth and resotration. He said Japan can do it again.
