I didn't want to be the first one to post this, but no one else has yet. I got word that Abbi Allen passed away. Apparently her battle with cancer is over now. I will miss her and her influence. I am great full for what she taught me of taijutsu and inner strength. Abbi will live on in our memories and in a way she lives in the taijutsu of those she taught. I didn't know her well enough to truly eulogize her, she was my instructors teacher and I trained with her only a little, though it had significant impact in my progression. I hope others who knew her closer will add to this.

There were a lot of us who already knew, but didn't want to bite the bullet and post the news. Thanks for going ahead with that.

I knew Abi from the time she began training. She was a wonderful person and superb budoka. I'll never forget her, and I'm glad she can rest now.

I wasn't sure how to break the news either, but I bet most already knew. She was well-loved in the Bujinkan and for good reason. I'm glad I knew her, and I know what her loved ones are going through.
