Hi to everyone!!! In this thread I want talk about the traditional scrools.
1-Is there somebody here, that seen the famous scrools?
2-Have they been never published in some book?
3- Are there really so ancients, I mean, are they older that Takamatsu?
Regards my first and second question.
The fact is that this art is based on traditional techniques, written on the scrolls. It’s easy hear sentence like ’ my sensei taught Ichimonji in this way….that sensei teaches in other way’ etc.etc. then I think that would be useful for students have the possibilities to see the scrools.
Regards my third question.
Some say that the bujinkan scrools aren’t older than Takamatsu, some say that Takamatsu wrote it, especially that concerning Togakure.

-Which scrolls are we talking about.? Can you be a bit more specific?
2-Have they been never published in some book?
-Given we dont really know which scrolls you are talking about its a bit difficult to answer. Can you tell us why Hatsumi sensei should publish his scrolls in a book? DO you know of any other soke of ryuha who has done so?
3- Are there really so ancients, I mean, are they older that Takamatsu?
-What does it matter? I dont have a scroll about my ancestors but still they existed. How could I be here otherwise?
If you cannot even tell the difference between the kamae from different ryuha, please dont waste time thinking about the scrolls and how old they are. Its pointless.

Wich scrools?
Togakure- Gyokko and Koto ryu
Why I wrote it in my post, it's importan for students to know the original techniques, many master teachs the techniques, with their interpretation.

I believe in Hatsumi but many say that Takamatsu wrote them.

He means

Only Hatsumi Sensei has the answers.

No there are no scrolls on the internet.

You cant learn this stuff in a book or dvd.

You need a good teacher!! find one!!! most of us have to travel far and wide for training to make it to Japan.

As has been said in other posts there are a few Italian Bujinkan instructors, and plenty of seminars in europe.

Find a good Teacher, its as simple as that, it will avoid confusion, and make you a better martial artist
