Hello Buyuu;
I am looking for support for the release of my latest novel I have just completed.

This novel is based on real events around the 14th century and of particular interest to students in the Bujinkan-as it features Ryushin Yakushimaru, the reported founder of Kukishin Ryu.

This is the sequel to my first novel Black Dove.

You can find more details here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3 ... makiri-warrior-o?ref=live
Thanks in advance for your support.

Please pass this on to anyone you may thinks would be interested.

Bufu Ikan

I tried to write a book once, proofreader said it lacked direction, was vague and characters were not fully developed, too many details omitted didn't gratify the reader and had too many plotholes. Then I told her it was supposed to be an autobiography.

Thanks Kent;

There are a lot of similarities between writing and Taijutsu when composing something like a novel-including what I would consider the Main aspects;

Nagare - the flow of the story
Ukemi-in the editing and "Palatability" to enable the reader to easily absorb the story
Tai Sabaki - Presenting different angles to the reader for them to appreciate various perspectives on the topic.
Ishi-the intention of the writer to purvey a particular message.

So writing becomes training in a metaphoric sense. Like my training, I consider the reader, not as an adversary, but someone to forge an understanding with, through the medium of the pen (Keyboard......)and of course the story.
