Shoes and feet
Deleted_
It is rude in japan to touch people with your feet But I dont think people apprieate it anywhere in the world. But in the Dojo it is something different.

Anyways, you never see people sitting with there legs straight out in Japan. In a formal situation or most of the time when out of the house, its in seiza, or in a relaxed atmosphere, cross legged.

You do not need to wear shoes or tabi when training in Japan. It is your own preference, to wear tabi or not, but please, keep them clean. No outdoor footwear in any dojos.
