Dear residents of the state that gave us Miami Vice :police: !

A girl from my dojo will be in Florida in may and asked me if I knew any places to buy equipment (nothing specific, more browsing...) and if there was any place I recommend for a short training visit.
I don´t know anythig about either questions and I promised to ask you nice people. Any input will be highly appreciated.

Karsten

Depends where in Florida. I live in New Port Richey, and there is nothing around here. There probably are places in Tampa, Miami, Ocala, and Orlando though. Check the dojo listings on the www.ninjutsu.com website.

Hi,
thank you for your reply. I checked the yellow pages on winjutsu.com but after all there are just names of people I do not know. I was hoping for some recommendations.

Karsten, if you're going to be in the ocala,Fl area in may, you are more than welcome to come train with us at the Bujinkan Kukan dojo. We are a small group, and the training is great. Contact me at ninpo749@yahoo.com if you'd like more information.

Hi Karsten.

I can highly recommend a dojo in Tampa. Ed Figueroa is teaching there and he is a very skill and friendly person. You can mail me if you like to have his e-mail address.

I definately agree with that, besides Dick has some great "toys". He is very creative and you will find some unique things.

I train with Paul Fisher in Palm Beach and we have a good outdoor training group (the dojo was destroyed in the hurricane) and I often supply equipment. Dick Severance is awesome to train with, Greg Cooper and Cliff Vann are also really good.

Alex, Paul's dojo was destroyed? I didn't know that, please pass on to him my concern and best wishes. I'm very sorry to hear about his difficulty.
