How about tweaking link appearance a bit? IMO it's quite inconvenient how they presently look just like normal text. Maybe some underlining, mouseover color change or whatever...?

(Note: there's a link in the text above.)

Your wish is my command - now you have more underlines than you can shake a stick at.

Shawn, didn't you read my suggestion on this thread?

By doing it (this'll take you only one minute!), the "how" in fukuto's post will be underlined. No links outside the message areas will be changed.

(It's "styleNN.css", not "style.css", that you have to edit now, tho.)

Oh, probably... at the time... (Sometimes you seem offended if you think people don't read your posts. )
And probably when I upgraded Kutaki that file was overwritten with the updated one, which undid the changes, if any had been made - to be honest I can't really remember.

Thanks - it worked. I had edited styleNN.css, but edited the wrong lines.

Looks like you edited "styleNN.css" although the HTML of this page uses "style.css".

I have received some mail to my personal address and some posts on this thread about HTML programming. Mainly stating that it is not important to use style.css over styleNN.css, it is not important to tweek the Fkt-ACII v3.5 SQL data-input, there is nothing to prove, we are ninja (sorry no way), etc.

Well I personally think that Takamatsu Sensei must be rolling in his grave. Remember that a Karate Champion once said that Takamatsu Soke "couldn't even program an abacus" in a local newspaper? With only a soldering iron, a handful of punch card and two rolls of magnetic tape in 3 days he had reformatted Meiji Daigaku's Mainframe to calculate differential equations to nine decimal places with his hands tied behind his back. Needless to say, the Karate champion took back his statement in the next day's issue of "PC Weekly" and personally apologized in a letter sent to his home.

Not to mention the mechanical adding machine at Toda Soke's accountancy firm, his many mainframe repairs and fortran programing in China, etc.

So if HTML, C++ and linux are not worth defending I wonder what Bill Gates was doing???

I for one am willing to take all on all coding, win or lose, not for my ego's sake but to defend 10,000,000 lines of programming in Windows XP and internet growth. I personally think we owe that to all of the hackers, IT bastards and assorted indoors types. It was their blood and lunch money sacrifice during their school years that led to the culmination of the coding we now talk too light heartedly about.

Wow, sometimes I just can't stop.

I hope I have given some beginners some code for tweeking

styleNN.css Hard …… styleNN.css Safe!
