Hello all. I just moved to Martinez California. I was just wondering if there was any one else living in Martinez that would like to do some "outside of class" training. I do intend to join Dale's class in San Francisco and maybe the classes here in Martinez. Since I just moved here though, I haven't started working yet. Or maybe somebody would have suggestions on training solo. I always had a training partner in Illinois, where I lived previously, and am a little lost on training by myself. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jesse,

Welcome to Martinez. I'm from Illinois originally too and came to California by ways of Texas. I don't teach Bujinkan anymore so if that is what you are interested in I'd recommend training with Dale's group. Call me at 925-917-0227 if you have any other questions.

Jeff

Thank you. I'm not looking for a teacher, just somebody to train with. I will keep you in mind if I have any questions.

We sometimes have open training sessions in the Bay Area on the weekends. We'll probably startup again once the weather gets better. The sessions are posted ahead of time on the web at www.budoka.net.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I can't wait to jump back into training again. Feeling that learning itch a bit.

Yo, I live in Concord, we can get together and play whenever we can (as long as your not a jerk like me, haha just kidding, seriously though), my buddy Rick would probably be down and I'll bet we can even bamboozle Jeff into revisiting some things. Maybe if we "go around begging *him* for hints about what "hard" really means." he will help us ground our basics and fundamentals....haha.
Jeff, I'm sure we can reach a middle ground, unscripted attacks but with trying to work on a specific idea...actually, thats sounds a lot like something to me....hmmmmmm...oh yeah, russian interpretational Jazz Dance. Jesse, if you call Jeff, get my number from him. Jeff, only give him my number if he's cool, haha just kidding, seriously though.
